Do you work in IT? Have you considered your internal cyber security needs and want to learn more about how best to defend your organisation from cyber threats? If the answer is yes, look no further than PGI’s Incident Response for IT course.
IT personnel are often an organisation’s first line of defence against cyber threats so it makes sense to give them the skills and knowledge needed to respond to an incident.
World-Class Cyber Academy
The course, which is taught at the world class PGI Cyber Academy based in Bristol teaches trainees the investigation skills and digital forensics knowledge they need to effectively investigate a cyber security breach.
Become a Malware Hunter
Incident Response for IT also trains trainees to become a malware hunter and defenders of their organisations. PGI’s expert trainers will teach trainees to know what looks suspicious and what tools to use to help investigate and identify malware at a forensic level.
Trainees will learn the types of tactics and procedures a threat actor uses to evade detection and develop real-world skills to locate malicious elements on a network and respond appropriately.
Defend Your Organisation
The course also educates on how to effectively discover host-based or network breaches in order to triage potential attacks. By the end of it trainees will be able to identify how to report a compromise, who to alert and how countermeasures may help defend against future threats.
‘A very well thought through course, taught by guys who actually do this for their job and really know their stuff! Alongside the informative content, the tools and techniques which we were taught were applicable in real business environments. There was a good mix of open source, free and paid for tools with an emphasis put on understanding the process and using the tool to apply what we know. Great course, thanks for having me!’ – Ben Harris from Computer Network Defence Ltd
The course is accredited by Bournemouth University, APMG and GCHQ certified training scheme (GCT)
